Albinder Dhindsa, cofounder and CEO of Blinkit, shared on the microblogging platform X on Friday that Blinkit has partnered with Apple reseller Unicorn Info Solutions to deliver the newly launched iPhone 16 in cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru on the launch day of the iPhone 16 series.
“Get the all-new iPhone 16 delivered in 10 minutes! We’ve partnered with @UnicornAPR for the third year in a row, bringing the latest iPhone to Blinkit customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru (for now) — on launch day!, ” Dhindsa wrote on X.
In a follow-up tweet, Dhindsa noted that more than 300 iPhones were delivered within just a few minutes of the announcement.
Similarly, Hari Menon, CEO and cofounder of Bigbasket, also announced that BBNow delivered 372 iPhones in just 100 minutes after the launch.

Menon also added that the complete process—from checkout to unboxing—was completed in just seven minutes, making quick commerce an attractive option for more buyers.
The new iPhone 16 series officially went on sale in India at 8 a.m. today, sparking massive demand. ET reported large crowds queuing outside Apple stores in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex and New Delhi’s Select CityWalk mall to be among the first to purchase the latest iPhone.
The US technology major launched the iPhone 16 series in the second week of September, and the phone became available today. The base variant, featuring 128GB of storage, is priced at Rs 79,900.
The iPhone 16 is being launched in nearly 60 countries, including the US, China, India, Australia, and South Korea. However, reports suggest that the device will not come pre-installed with Apple Intelligence, the AI software the company has been promoting since June.
