Anthropic and Deloitte announced a new expanded alliance that would make the AI startup’s Claude AI available to 4,70,000 people across the company’s global network
Anthropic noted that the collaboration represented its largest enterprise AI deployment to date. The companies are also set to co-create a formal certification programme to train 15,000 professionals in using Claude.
Deloitte will create a Claude Center of Excellence made up of experts to help with implementation, share leading practices, and provide technical support.
“Deloitte chose Claude because they need trusted AI that can help their employees and clients across industries and on a global scale—from coding and software development to customer engagement and industry-specific advisory,” said Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Anthropic, in a company blog post on October 6.
Ranjit Bawa, Global Technology and Ecosystems & Alliances Leader, Deloitte Global, noted that Claude was a leading choice for many clients.
“This expanded relationship includes technology integration, plans for the establishment of a Center of Excellence, continued certification of 15,000 professionals, and development of industry-specific solutions as we support our clients through their AI transformations. Anthropic shares our passion for safety and reliability, along with our assessment that enterprise AI should be both powerful and principled,” said Mr. Bawa.
The collaboration announcement came shortly after the Financial Times reported that Deloitte would refund some fees since a separate report for the Australia Department of Employment and Workplace Relations had AI-generated errors.
